Great ears Avi. Bob's a big fan and friend of Henderson and has done some study with him. I credit Scott for turning Bob into what he is today. Check out the difference in his playing from the early stuff on the "End of Line" album to how he plays now. He's so much more lyrical and his solos are more than just displays of chops and modality. There's form and compositional structure to his improvisations and the intensity and drive from the old days still remain. I think Scott and Joe D'Orio both began to get Bob out of playing from the brain to playing from the soul.

Cool!
Nice, nice playing. Who's the sax player on Bagabob? Sounds like Micheal Brecker or Brandon Fields - some sick playing.
Man, your grooves sound sooo nice - your playing is as clean as Vinnie's...
Keep it up!

Hey Tom,
You sound great - as always. When are you going to move to another city? I'd miss you man, but I could use the work.

Hey LD, thanks! What a beautiful compliment. The sax player (on the whole recording) is the wonderful and underrated Carl Coan, who was also a member of the aforementioned Powerhouse band. Plays a mean EWI too, last I played with him! He's written at least one (probably many) Michael Brecker transcription book.
Brad--oh, please! You rock.
